Risk Management

The best way to manage a disaster is to avoid it completely.  For this reason, A-Brazo is focusing on mitigation projects and training in communities throughout El Salvador.  These trainings have resulted in new retaining walls, drainage canals to channel heavy rains during the rainy season, and reinforcement of hillsides above and below houses in the communities. With a little training for community members, leaders, and pastors and relatively inexpensive projects we can avoid many disasters.
