Since the earthquakes of 2001 A-Brazo has constructed over 1,100 permanent houses in El Salvador. These houses provide safe, dignified shelter for the people in extremely poor communities, typically living on less that $2.00 a day. In 2005 we began constructing water tanks that will provide communities with access to water throughout the year. A-Brazo continues to work alongside communities to construct houses and water tanks as well as churches, schools, commercial kitchens, and community centers.
